Hey everyone, so I know its been a while since I last posted but I am back again! So in this blog post today it'll be two events rolled into one, I hope you enjoy the read.
I wanted to share with you all my very first pumpkin picking experience, which was pretty wet as we seemed to of picked the worst day to go on as it was pouring down with rain (no shock there, it is England). From always seeing in movies and on TV shows the people going pumpkin picking I always thought that it was only available in America until I done some digging of my own and found somewhere pretty close by to where I live that were doing a pumpkin patch and once I had looked into the prices and directions etc I knew I just had to go.

So me, my boyfriend, my sister and her boyfriend decided to go and make a day of it by going to the pumpkin patch to pick the best looking pumpkins and to try and get some good shots for instagram but because it was so wet and miserable, also it was extremely busy we couldn't really get many good shots so we just decided to pick our pumpkins and go.
There was quite the selection of pumpkins to pick from, you had extremely large ones to ridiculously small, white ones and even grey. The farm had a sizing guide as the price went by how much the pumpkin weighed and if it was over a certain amount of kg they would give you a 10% discount, so of course my boyfriend took it upon himself to have the challenge of finding the largest pumpkin but we didn't really think about the size of his car (it is rather tiny) and we had to fit our pumpkins in plus my sister and her boyfriend's pumpkins too.

It was a fun filled day, which was really nice to spend with my boyfriend doing something that we both have never done before and I will definitely be going again next year.
Moving on a few days before Halloween, we eventually got round to carving our pumpkins which was the part we were both looking forward to the most. I don't ever choose to do anything fancy on my pumpkin's as I know for a fact that if I did it would totally flop and it would look a mess so I stuck to the "traditional" child like carvings that you would usually see which is a scary face, my boyfriend done the same although his looked better than mine did.
Skipping forward to the 3rd of November, my boyfriend decided to surprise me with a spontaneous outing to our local fireworks night display which is the first time I have ever gone to that specific one. Luckily the rain decided to hold off as that weekend the weather had been predicted to be really rubbish and a lot of the displays were cancelling in advance to avoid disappointment if the weather did end up to be bad.
Although it was cold and the ground was extremely soggy from all the rain a few days before that didn't stop the thousands of people who came out to watch those fireworks, it was packed... My worst nightmare but I seemed to handle it all okay and really enjoyed watching the fireworks with my boyfriend, it was pretty romantic and I loved spending time with just him doing something we both enjoy.

Once the fireworks had ended we decided to head too McDonalds to get a drink but it seemed as if everyone else had the same idea, as the traffic was really bad getting into the road that McDonalds was and the queues inside were ridiculous too but we still managed to get what we wanted and then we went off home.
So, that is my latest update everyone. I know it was a bit jam packed but I tried to keep it as short and sweet for everyone as I could.
I would highly recommend going pumpkin picking when you can, it is so much fun to do and I would maybe suggest picking a day that isn't as miserable.
Thank you everyone for reading, and I will catch you all in the next blog post.
