My trip to Winter Wonderland

Hey guys and welcome to my "first" post, today I'll be writing about my personal experience and Winter Wonderland.
So I have always heard everyone hyping Winter Wonderland up but had never gotten the chance myself to go and experience the "hype" and I thought that I would at least make it my mission to go once to see what it was all about. Now I LOVE Christmas, it is by far my favourite time of year and what better way to get festive than to go into London right smack bang in the middle of Christmas.
Before heading to Hyde Park where Winter Wonderland is located, me and my boyfriend went to Covent Garden to have a look around and just generally being tourists as we don't get much of a chance to look round London. Once we had enough of being tourists, we then started making our way to Hyde Park. Upon arrival I didn't know what to expect, people were everywhere and it wasn't doing much for my anxiety... I had started to question myself whether this was the best idea but I powered through and was determined to have a great time.

We joined the massive long queue to get in to the park, I honestly thought we was going to be waiting forever but the line moved pretty quickly and then I was hit with the Christmas lights and atmosphere... It was great!
There was so much to look at while trying to take it all in, it was quite overwhelming but at the same time made you feel extremely festive.
We played at a few of the games stalls, and won some toys but I was determined not to spend all my money at one stall as I am honestly guilty of doing that. Some parts of the park were busier than others. We were looking round all of the stalls and seeing what they had to offer.

So I have a fear of heights and didn't think I'd ever attempt to try and conquer my fear. I went up in the 360 view tower, which was terrifying to say the least but I did it! The view from the top was amazing despite having so much anxiety as it was quite windy and you could feel every little wobble once we reached the top. I couldn't get really good pictures as there was a blue light that reflected against the glass but the pictures that I did get you can sort of make out the view from them.
Never the less, I had a really great time at Winter Wonderland and definitely would go again to do some more activities there.
I hope you liked reading my brief review on Winter Wonderland, I would definitely recommend going if you ever get the chance.
Love Jade x
