Hey everyone, it has been a while since I last posted and A LOT has gone on since then. I've had to deal with my mental health taking a decline again and some other issues but rest assured I am now 10 times better than what I was all thanks to my best friend for suggesting that I go and visit her in Cornwall for a week.

My best friend used to live close to me but then moved down to Cornwall last summer, I've always said that I would go and visit her but never got the chance to until recently which was very much needed since I hadn't been on holiday in like 10 years which isn't an exaggeration either.

I spent 4 hours on a train to get to Bodmin which is where my friend lives and the difference in scenery coming from London on the way to Cornwall was amazing, so much prettier and a lot more to look at rather than tall flats and office buildings. The journey there wasn't too bad, I slept as much as I could to try and occupy my time since I couldn't read on the train as it gave me super bad motion sickness. Honestly I was glad to get off the train on to solid ground as it had felt like I'd been travelling for ages, my friends met me at the train station and we then travelled to their home which was at the top of a hill in a really lovely road and had an amazing view.

We didn't do anything the first night I arrived apart from have a lovely roast dinner, went to the nearest McDonalds for a McFlurry and then went to bed because I was super tired and had a jam packed week ahead of me which I was looking forward to. We went to a new beach every day I was there, I've never been to so many beaches in one week it totally made up for what I had been missing out on those past 10 years. We also went to some pretty cool towns and ate some really awesome food, enjoying ourselves in the blistering hot sun and in the arcades. It was so cool to see different parts of Cornwall, I felt so relaxed down there and didn't worry at all which is exactly what I needed.

The weather was amazing and I honestly had been really lucky with how good the weather was, especially for England being well known for its rainy more miserable weather. On my last day that's when the weather was a bit more miserable but never the less I still spent a few hours on the beach.

I have put together a mini slideshow of some of the pictures I had taken on my trip, there's so many more photos but I'd be here forever putting them all up. I hope you have enjoyed this post!
